About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute audit, review, and compilation engagements following appropriate professional standards
- Perform auditing techniques including vouching, tracing, observing, recalculating, footing, and reconciling
- Assist with engagement planning, audit plans, client request schedules, engagement time budgets, and rolling forward engagement binders
- Use Engagement, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Active Data, and other software to document work and communications
- Participate in engagement wrap-up activities to ensure timely completion
- Participate in professional development activities
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager
- Establish annual goals aligned with team and firm objectives
- Assess testing results using strong analytical skills and professional judgment
- Communicate project status, open items, and issues to supervisors and peers
- Perform technical research on engagement-related issues
- Work independently and collaboratively with supervisors and peers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must complete the credit requirements needed for CPA licensure by the time employment begins in June or October 2027
- Accounting majors preferred; other majors will be considered
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Diversity of activities and interests
- Desire to be continually challenged
- Ability to think creatively to bring solutions to clients
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
- Candidates requiring employment visa sponsorship, OPT Training Visa support, or future sponsorship will not be considered
