About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform direct care and supervisory duties
- Perform client assessments
- Observe clients to identify target behaviors
- Collaborate with clients ages 2–21, their families, and other service providers
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans focused on child, family, educational, social, and recreational strengths and improvement opportunities
- Continue development and review of preference assessments, reinforcement, and other rehabilitative strategies and activities prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist and aligned with the ITP
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree
- Licensed in Pennsylvania in one of the following: Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with a mental health certification (CRNP), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Social Worker (LSW), or Behavior Specialist (LBS)
- Scope of practice must include overseeing the provision of ABA services
- BCaBA certification or other bachelor’s-level certification; OR
- Minimum of one year full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA; OR
- Minimum of one year full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with BCBA or other master’s-level certification in behavior analysis and a minimum of 40 hours of ABA-related training; OR
- Pennsylvania psychologist license, plus a minimum of one year full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of ABA-related training
