About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform direct care and supervisory duties
  • Perform client assessments
  • Observe clients to identify target behaviors
  • Collaborate with clients ages 2–21, their families, and other service providers
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans focused on child, family, educational, social, and recreational strengths and improvement opportunities
  • Conduct ongoing development and review of preference assessments, reinforcement, and rehabilitative strategies and activities prescribed by a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist and aligned with the ITP

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree
  • Licensed in Pennsylvania in one of the following: Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with a mental health certification (CRNP), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Social Worker (LSW), or Behavior Specialist (LBS)
  • Professional scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services
  • BCaBA certification or other bachelor’s-level certification; OR
  • Minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA; OR
  • Minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with BCBA or other master’s-level certification in BA and a minimum of 40 hours of ABA-related training; OR
  • Pennsylvania psychologist license plus a minimum of one year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of ABA-related training
