About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as system administrator and functional owner for the application portfolio
- Maintain configurations, user permissions, integrations, and workflows
- Monitor application health, availability, and performance
- Manage upgrades, patches, and version releases with vendors and IT leadership
- Maintain data integrity and support audit readiness and cross-platform reporting
- Partner with stakeholders to analyze workflows and translate business requirements into configurations or enhancement requests
- Recommend and implement configuration changes, custom workflows, and integration solutions
- Document business processes, system configurations, data flows, and integration maps
- Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives focused on automation and eliminating manual work
- Design, configure, and monitor integrations between portfolio applications
- Troubleshoot integration failures, data synchronization errors, and API issues
- Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions
- Establish and enforce data governance standards
- Provide Tier 2/3 application support
- Develop and deliver end-user training, onboarding materials, and quick-reference guides
- Advise department managers on application best practices
- Maintain ticketing and support logs and address recurring issues
- Manage vendor relationships, renewals, escalations, roadmaps, and contract compliance
- Evaluate application add-ons, integrations, and modules
- Administer user license inventories and optimize costs
- Lead or co-lead application implementation projects from requirements gathering through post-implementation review
- Develop project plans and coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors
- Maintain compliance with IT policies, change management protocols, and data security requirements
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate IT staff and business power users
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in an application analyst, systems analyst, or ERP administrator role
- Direct hands-on experience in at least three portfolio applications
- Experience managing integrations between multiple enterprise applications
- Experience troubleshooting API and data sync issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Strong working knowledge of construction or field-service industry workflows, including job costing, project management, service dispatch, and financial management
- Experience leading end-user training and developing instructional materials for non-technical audiences
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: experience in specialty contracting, construction, HVAC, mechanical, or fire protection industries
- Acumatica Certification is highly desired
- Procore Certification or demonstrated experience configuring Procore modules
- Familiarity with SQL for ad hoc reporting and data validation
- Experience with Agile, PMBOK, and change management practices
- Microsoft PL-900 or PL-200 certification
