About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage a volunteer community of over 200,000 language professionals
- Maintain effective communication with community members and clarify expectations
- Assist with strategic and crisis-response outreach to new community members
- Support planning, logistics and management of community engagement events and activities
- Support recruitment, training and preparation of community members for CLEAR Global roles
- Monitor and develop community member dialogue within digital platforms
- Help CLEAR Global teams identify opportunities for community involvement in workflows and activities
- Support development of role descriptions, coordination structures and engagement processes
- Support community members’ experience with CLEAR Global and help community programs and processes run efficiently
- Perform administrative tasks, data entry and data collection
- Handle other community management duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Eligible for the Erasmus+ traineeship
- Currently enrolled in a higher education institution holding an Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education, or a recent graduate
- Traineeship must be relevant to degree-related learning and personal development needs
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Able to work during CET core hours
- Strong communication skills with awareness of intercultural contexts
- Self-starter able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Analytical thinker able to transform ideas into tangible actions
- Team player, collaborative, adaptable and self-motivated
- Able to adapt to new technologies and learn new skills quickly
- Reliable and flexible, with ability to uphold CLEAR Global’s Core Values
- Previous translation and/or interpreting experience advantageous; internships and volunteering count
- Previous nonprofit organization experience advantageous
- Familiarity with technology, especially translation and/or data-entry tools, a plus
- Enthusiasm for humanitarian work
