About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Efficiency United program in Michigan
- Implement commercial energy efficiency utility rebate programs
- Engage directly with customers and trade allies/contractors
- Develop understanding of the business customer base
- Educate customers and contractors and increase rebate program awareness and participation
- Develop outreach tactics for commercial customer segments
- Build the commercial customer pipeline and oversee projects through completion
- Liaise between customers and contractors to improve program satisfaction
- Integrate program offerings into customer operations
- Identify, schedule, coordinate, and present at program events
- Identify barriers and provide critical information to the Senior Market Outreach Manager
- Utilize a CRM daily
- Prepare monthly activity reports and track progress toward program goals
- Travel in-state in the lower east side of Michigan 50–75%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a professional position such as sales, consulting, or similar field
- Knowledgeable or experienced in energy efficiency preferred
- Located in or with close proximity to Michigan
- Self-motivated to work with minimal supervision and communicate task progress
- Able to work with tight deadlines, competing or changing priorities, and interruptions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Technical trade experience a plus
- High school graduate or equivalent
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or support
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
