About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the West side of Michigan as part of a program delivery team
Implement commercial energy efficiency utility rebate programs
Engage directly with customers participating in programs and their trade allies/contractors
Collaborate with the program team to meet client goals
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business customer base
Educate customers and trade allies/contractors and raise awareness and participation in energy efficiency rebate programs
Develop outreach tactics to identify and engage commercial customer segments
Build the commercial customer pipeline and see projects through to completion
Serve as a liaison between customers and contractors to enhance program satisfaction
Integrate program offerings into customer operations to improve customer service and satisfaction
Identify and schedule event participation, coordination, and program presentations
Utilize a CRM daily
Prepare monthly activity reports and track progress toward program goals
Travel in-state on the West side of Michigan 50–75%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in a professional position such as sales, Energy Efficiency, consulting, or similar field
Knowledgeable or experienced in energy efficiency preferred
Located in or with close proximity to Kent County
Self-motivated to work with minimal supervision and communicate the progress of task completion
Able to work with tight deadlines, competing or changing priorities, and multiple interruptions
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Experienced or knowledgeable in a technical trade experience a plus
A High school graduate or equivalent
If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support
Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
