About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the relationship between utility clients and retail programs
- Manage the cost, implementation, and performance of company retail programs
- Participate in negotiation of contracts and contract changes
- Coordinate business plans, work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions
- Align development processes with market trends, program goals, and client needs
- Develop new business or expand the product line with clients
- Analyze problem and opportunity areas and evaluate options
- Evaluate performance and recommend marketing actions
- Establish milestones and monitor program plans and schedules
- Identify program problems and obtain solutions, including resource allocation or contractual specification changes
- Determine profitability and viability of new products or program enhancements
- Develop strategies and tactics for effective program performance
- Work with company functional groups throughout the program life cycle
- Direct employees from technical, marketing, operations, analytics, and administrative areas
- Manage concurrent contracts generating $2m-$5m annual revenue without incentives
- Execute contracts for compliance and client satisfaction
- Direct and coordinate cross-functional field teams of typically 7-15 people
- Manage at least 2 direct reports
- Create technical content and intellectual property, as needed
- Build relationships with utilities, retailers, and manufacturers
- Assist in writing and presenting proposals
- Assist in developing field representative territories and retailer visit frequencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant work experience plus 5-8 years project management
- 2+ years people management
- Bachelor’s degree
- Meet all applicable DOT qualification requirements, if applicable
- Comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, if applicable
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
