About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a local, on-site program and company representative
- Build trust with customers while partnering with contractors to drive program participation
- Travel throughout Chelan PUD territory, up to 70% of the time
- Perform data entry and develop detailed home energy assessment reports
- Create scopes of work with installation recommendations, especially for HVAC systems
- Support contractor walkthroughs and bidding using assessment reports
- Conduct post-installation inspections for quality and program compliance
- Support customer and contractor communications by email and phone
- Assist with administrative program tasks when not in the field
Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a personal or company-provided vehicle throughout the Chelan PUD territory
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- BPI certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
- Basic understanding of residential energy efficiency, home construction, HVAC, or a related trade, or willingness to learn
- Background in customer service, with sensitivity and compassion for underserved and vulnerable populations
- Highly detail-oriented and able to learn quickly
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, tight areas, and at heights
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and database systems such as QuickBase
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check and drug screening before starting
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable transportation regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or support
