About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Travel daily throughout a defined territory in a company-provided vehicle
- Conduct entry-level commercial energy audits for small and mid-sized facilities
- Meet with commercial and industrial business owners and operators
- Install energy efficiency measures
- Conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and technical data gathering
- Engage directly with customers and contractors to explain program offerings, encourage participation, and address basic questions
- Document inspections, installations, and customer interactions according to program requirements
- Perform on-site installations involving physical labor and basic tools
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate basic technical or installation issues
- Work in the field servicing customers Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM Central Time, with schedule variations based on customer and site requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Entry-level position
- Experience in industries such as construction, facility maintenance or installation
- Customer service skills
- Must reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment with a driving record meeting CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to use repetitive hand motion, power tools, and ladders
- Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely use ladders and equipment with a maximum rated capacity of 300 pounds, including employee, clothing, tools, and equipment
- Must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Must consent to a motor vehicle report and maintain a clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and applicable transportation regulations
