About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with marketing leadership to develop the corporate events strategy
- Research potential events and sponsorships to increase brand awareness and drive lead generation
- Research, propose and manage speaking engagements for company spokespeople
- Collaborate with the creative team on event messaging and communications development
- Oversee event logistics, exhibit planning and meeting space needs
- Manage vendors and event contractors
- Provide onsite coordination of corporate events
- Maintain inventory of exhibit materials and ship them to events
- Maintain the event calendar and manage event budgets
- Prepare event plans and debrief on event performance
- Facilitate pre-event planning meetings with marketing, business development and operations teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-6+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Certified meeting planner preferred
- Must meet applicable DOT qualification requirements, if applicable
- Must comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, if applicable
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
