About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct residential energy audits
  • Install energy-efficient equipment
  • Conduct energy efficiency re-audits and pre- and post-installation verifications
  • Perform technical data gathering activities through a defined territory
  • Support Account Managers in selling and/or installing energy efficiency retrofits or new construction
  • Provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement according to client specifications
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues and recommend solutions
  • Record inspection results and customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff
  • Act as a local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors
  • Encourage program participation and overcome barriers
  • Travel throughout a defined territory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 0-1 year of relevant industry experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • OSHA-10 preferred
  • Meet all DOT qualification requirements if applicable
  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
  • Authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
