About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide energy teams in identifying, evaluating, and implementing energy efficiency activities in commercial and industrial facilities
- Support multiple utility clients across northern Illinois
- Help program participants apply continuous improvement principles to energy management
- Motivate and coach plant and facility management and teams
- Guide the development of continuous improvement plans
- Facilitate training workshops, onsite energy audits, and one-on-one events
- Analyze industrial process performance using monitoring equipment and statistical analysis
- Write reports for technical and non-technical audiences
- Conduct site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities
- Develop site improvement plans
- Escalate program and client issues to the SEM Program Manager
- Travel periodically, as needed, to program participant sites
- Attend the Oak Brook office periodically for larger team meetings, workshops, and event planning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with continuous improvement, change management, or Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
