About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform pre- and post-modeling data review and manipulation to support Statistical Analysts
- Manipulate and format production data
- Analyze large data sets to catch errors and ensure accuracy
- Integrate data into statistical software templates
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to build and maintain database files
- Create and maintain standardized templates for energy modeling and program data
- Write work instructions for newly developed templates
- Track, draft, edit, and quality-control final models and reports
- Help automate data processing
- Troubleshoot, modify, and build tools using Visual Basic and Excel formulas
- Manage and manipulate data in Smartsheet
- Support benchmarking reporting and digital infrastructure development
- Occasionally interact with clients and end-use customers to gather data or answer questions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong data manipulation and formatting skills, with an eye for consistency and detail
- Experience analyzing large, complex data sets
- Comfort working with statistical software and templates
- Proficiency in Visual Basic and advanced Excel formulas
- Experience with Smartsheet
- SharePoint experience
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across internal teams and occasionally with external clients and customers
- Energy industry experience preferred, but not required
- Sponsorship is not available
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
