About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all clinic operations, including client access, clinical care, safety and risk processes, staffing and morale, training, quality assurance and evaluation, facility management, communications and events, TRICARE and commercial billing, and financial oversight
- Lead an interdisciplinary outpatient mental health clinic team serving adults, couples, families, and children
- Oversee staff performance, program development, and continuous quality improvement
- Translate organizational goals into actionable clinic-level strategies
- Ensure adherence to CARF accreditation, compliance, privacy, and security standards
- Serve as liaison between clinic staff and CVN leadership
- Ensure evidence-based practice guidelines are followed in the targeted treatment model
- Oversee clinical supervision for licensed staff
- Monitor documentation, timeliness, utilization, diagnosis, treatment, screening, disposition, safety, and clinical training/licensure renewal
- Monitor utilization, documentation completion, and wait-time KPIs
- Manage clinic budget, productivity targets, and financial/billing performance
- Co-facilitate weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews
- Maintain staffing levels and oversee retention, recruitment, onboarding, role training, and feedback processes
- Represent the clinic with AAFES, installation command, community stakeholders, and referral partners
- Maintain readiness for licensing, accreditation, and payer reviews
- Ensure confidentiality, privacy, and risk-management policies are followed
- Provide clinical care as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s Degree or higher in Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or Mental Health Counseling, OR a Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Specialized training and expertise in evidence-based treatment
- Active, unrestricted clinical license and eligibility to meet TRICARE billing requirements
- Eligible to obtain and maintain SOFA status for overseas assignment
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading, managing, and supervising within a clinical setting
- Experience treating and diagnosing PTSD and co-morbid diagnoses such as SUD, depression, and anxiety using evidence-based treatments
- Experience providing clinical supervision in these areas
- Knowledge of DSM-V-TR diagnoses
- Experience using an electronic health record system
- HIPAA training and compliance required
- Experience across evidence-based modalities for adults, children, couples, and families preferred
- 10–15 years of clinical experience preferred
- Experience using Cerner is a plus
- Some travel may be required
