About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and execute the partnership strategy across reseller and white-label motions with EHR vendors
- Source, negotiate, and launch new partnerships
- Manage existing alliances end-to-end, including enablement, co-selling, implementation alignment, marketing, quota setting, forecasting, and deal support
- Develop executive-level relationships with EHR leadership and ties with field sales, operations, and customer success teams
- Run regular governance, QBRs, and joint account planning
- Set partner targets and quotas, drive pipeline creation and deal progression, and maintain accurate partner-sourced and partner-influenced forecasts
- Create repeatable playbooks, pricing and packaging, demo scripts, objection handling, and implementation guides
- Develop co-marketing plans such as webinars and case studies
- Master the product and demo it to partner prospects
- Translate partner and market feedback into product requirements with Product and Engineering
- Coordinate with Legal and RevOps on partner agreements, pricing, and reporting hygiene
- Remove blockers so partners can sell, support, and implement successfully
- Define the operating model and KPIs for the partnerships function
- Build the case to scale headcount as milestones are met
- Grow from an individual contributor role into building and leading a partnerships team as business demand warrants
- Deliver partner-sourced and partner-influenced ARR, reduce time-to-first-deal, maintain forecast accuracy and pipeline coverage, complete partner enablement and certifications, produce co-marketing outputs, and improve partner satisfaction and implementation readiness
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7–10+ years in partnerships/alliances, channel sales, direct sales, or business development for SaaS or health tech
- Proven success with reseller/white-label motions; EHR ecosystem experience strongly preferred
- Full-cycle partnership sales experience, from target setting through closing
- Willingness to travel ~20–30% for partner meetings, conferences, and market development
- Understanding of behavioral health provider workflows and the EHR vendor landscape
- Ability to influence the C-suite and enable field sales representatives
- Experience with target setting, pipeline creation, co-selling, negotiation, and closing
- Comfort working in HubSpot with RevOps best practices
- Ability to discuss integrations (APIs, SSO, data flows) and security basics (HIPAA, SOC2, BAAs)
- Ability to build scalable playbooks and partner certifications and drive execution across Sales, Marketing, Product, CS, Legal, and Finance
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and design, hire, and lead a partnerships function as it scales
- Ability to use AI in day-to-day workflow and discuss it credibly with partner organizations
- Prior experience with EHRs such as Credible, SmartCare, Netsmart, Qualifacts, NextGen, or similar is preferred
- Startup or scale-up experience standing up partner programs from zero to one is preferred
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to behavioral health is preferred
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting
