About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses across TB vaccine readiness, including demand forecasting, financing, health-system and delivery readiness, and introduction planning
  • Gather, review, validate, and quality-assure data from government systems, technical partners, published sources, and consultants
  • Execute assigned workstreams independently and contribute to larger components led by the Senior Program Manager
  • Apply project-management concepts to planning, execution, monitoring, communication, and closure of assigned activities
  • Support implementation of the National TB Vaccine Readiness Roadmap through work planning, meeting preparation and follow-up, milestone and action tracking, and project-documentation maintenance
  • Develop presentations, briefs, meeting materials, and analyses for government, donor, and partner engagements
  • Communicate assigned-workstream status proactively to ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate routinely with Indonesia’s National TB Program, EPI, BKPK, Ministry of Finance, BPOM, Bio Farma, Bappenas, and other technical partners
  • Identify systemic data and process issues and recommend solutions, escalating non-routine issues
  • Identify process-improvement and efficiency opportunities and share tools and lessons learned internally
  • Support financial management, including activity budgets, expenditure tracking, and supporting documentation
  • Support internal program management, project-repository maintenance, and periodic program and donor reporting
  • Undertake other responsibilities requested by the Senior Program Manager or CHAI Indonesia leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health economics, health policy, economics, finance, or a related field
  • Master’s degree is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in strategy consulting, global health, health economics, health financing, or other analytical and results-oriented environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including quantitative and/or qualitative analysis, information synthesis, and translating findings into recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask across quantitative and qualitative tasks and small workstreams
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to develop well-structured presentations, briefs, and reports with limited edits and oversight
  • Ability to remain effective in high-pressure situations and adapt to fast-paced and changing environments
  • Experience working with government counterparts in Indonesia, particularly the Ministry of Health or its agencies, is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with government, technical, and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • High initiative and ownership; ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural and matrixed team
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
