About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as CHAI Indonesia’s country lead for TB vaccine readiness
  • Own the strategy, technical quality, and delivery of a complex, multi-year program
  • Co-develop strategic direction and define annual activity scope with government and donor counterparts
  • Lead governance and coordination, demand forecasting, financing and investment case, health system readiness, and introduction planning workstreams
  • Develop and quality-assure technical analyses, including demand forecasting, costing, and financing analysis
  • Synthesize evidence into presentations and recommendations for senior government, donor, and global audiences
  • Build and manage relationships with Indonesia’s National TB Program, EPI, BKPK, Ministry of Finance, BPOM, Bio Farma, Bappenas, and other partners
  • Represent CHAI Indonesia with the global vaccines team, donors, and regional/global forums
  • Manage and develop project staff and consultants, including performance, pay, promotion, workforce planning, hiring, and other personnel decisions
  • Develop budgets, track expenditures, ensure donor and CHAI fiscal compliance, and oversee financial and donor reporting
  • Collaborate with CHAI leadership and program leads on team processes, business development, and country team priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in public health, health economics, health policy, economics, business, finance, or a related field; candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and exceptional relevant experience will also be considered
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs
  • Strategy consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in global health, health financing, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, or related fields is an advantage
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to conduct and guide quantitative and qualitative analyses, synthesize findings, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Ability to develop decision-oriented presentations and analytical outputs for senior audiences
  • Strong project leadership and complex workstream management skills
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, including technical guidance, coaching, quality assurance, and performance management
  • Experience forecasting and managing program budgets and ensuring donor compliance
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills with senior government officials and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with the Government of Indonesia is strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Available for up to 35% domestic and international travel
