About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Product and Engineering to define and execute experience design strategy and success metrics
- Use research and insights to prioritize customer and business needs
- Engage directly with customers and advocate for their needs in cross-functional decision-making
- Lead end-to-end design for a product area, from vision crafting through prototyping, testing, and polished execution
- Design intuitive financial workflows and experiences for law firms
- Launch high-impact features and iterate based on learning
- Raise quality and coherence across the Billing ecosystem
- Design trustworthy, explainable, and appropriately controlled AI automation
- Contribute design system improvements and influence product-wide consistency
- Drive alignment through storytelling, decision framing, and proactive cross-functional collaboration
- Strengthen the team through constructive critique and mentoring
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience designing digital products
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable experiences across multiple customer segments and/or products
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality work that solves customer problems and moves key product metrics
- Strong craft across interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual design
- Strong customer-centric practice, with the ability to translate customer insight into actionable design direction
- Experience designing AI-powered features or workflows
- Strong understanding of user-centered applications of machine learning and generative AI
- Expert in design and prototyping tools and solid use of AI tools in the design process, such as Figma, Cursor, and Claude
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including clear articulation of rationale and trade-offs
- Collaborative, low-ego partnership style
- Candidates must be located in Canada excluding Quebec or the United States
- Candidates near the Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto hubs must work in the office a minimum of twice per week on designated Anchor Days
