About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Clio Accounting
- Determine where AI can accelerate, automate, and improve accounting workflows while retaining appropriate human judgment
- Partner with Design, Engineering, and Data on metrics, feedback loops, and success criteria
- Build relationships with firm administrators, bookkeepers, accountants, and managing partners
- Champion compliance and business insight needs for law firms
- Translate accounting concepts and regulatory requirements into clear product decisions
- Collaborate with Billing, Payments, Reporting, and Platform teams
- Partner with GTM, Customer Success, and Compliance stakeholders to drive adoption and reduce customer friction
- Communicate roadmap and trade-offs across technical and executive audiences
- Own accounting capabilities including chart of accounts, trust accounting, bank reconciliation, expense tracking, financial reporting, and compliance workflows integrated with the Clio platform
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of product management experience
- Meaningful experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in FinTech, accounting software, or business operations tools
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals, including double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliation, trust accounting rules, and financial reporting
- Genuine interest in helping businesses understand and act on financial performance
- Perspective on applying AI within accounting and bookkeeping processes
- Experience applying design thinking and business process analysis to complex workflows
- Exceptional communication skills with executives and developers
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and functions
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Outcomes-focused approach with demonstrated impact on important metrics
- Customer-obsessed approach with regular customer engagement
- Candidates must be located in Canada excluding Quebec or the United States
- If located near Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto, expected to work in the office at least twice per week on designated Anchor Days
