About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap execution for solutions supporting Clio’s expansion into the Italian market
- Own Clio’s Italian product portfolio and customer experience end to end, from first touch through onboarding, daily practice management, billing, and support
- Identify and close gaps across products, including gaps owned by other teams
- Maintain a current view of product issues, missing capabilities, and commitments for Italy, and communicate it to leadership
- Develop and evangelize a roadmap with Product Management peers
- Own roadmap feature delivery and ensure desired business outcomes
- Drive product readiness for Italy, including localization, multilingual support, regulatory requirements, and market-specific workflows
- Set a clear product vision for Italy and deliver customer-visible changes rapidly
- Make decisions with imperfect information, validate with customers, and adjust based on learning
- Parallelize workstreams and communicate the cost of serialization
- Translate Italian legal-market and regulatory requirements into buildable product requirements
- Build relationships with practitioners, bar associations, and local partners; serve as the source of truth for Italian legal-profession needs
- Reason about data models, currency, tax, payments, locale, extensibility, cardinality, and migrations with engineering
- Distinguish local configuration needs from platform capability needs
- Use AI for research synthesis, competitive and regulatory analysis, requirements drafting, data querying, and prototyping
- Build lightweight AI tools, agents, scripts, and working systems to remove repetitive work
- Verify AI outputs against primary sources for legal and regulatory questions
- Build business cases to secure roadmap commitments from central teams
- Escalate with clear recommendations and costs of inaction
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Operations on the Italian market launch and growth
- Manage stakeholder relationships across a matrixed organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in Italian and English
- 4-5 years of experience in product management
- Working knowledge of the Italian legal market, including Italian civil law, local firm operations, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of independently taking multiple products or features from ideation to launch in a SaaS environment
- Experience owning a product area end to end, including outcomes dependent on teams outside your own
- Demonstrated expertise in localization and multilingual product development
- Experience building or managing multilingual applications or internationalization projects, and expanding products to other countries and languages
- Technical fluency sufficient to reason about system design, data models, and platform tradeoffs with engineering
- Demonstrated AI-native working style, with specific examples of using AI in product practice
- Evidence of winning roadmap commitments from teams that do not report to you
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using data to inform decisions
- Ability to operate from a customer-empathy perspective
- Experience working across time zones and cultures
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity
- At least 2 or 3 failures under your belt and learnings to bring to Clio
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team without ego
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Serious bonus points: prior legal tech or legal services market experience; experience with Consiglio Nazionale Forense and local Ordini or comparable bodies; regulated industry or multi-product ecosystem experience; experience shipping against an Italian or EU regulatory deadline; global product launches; objective-to-initiative decomposition and scaled delivery; internal tooling or agents; self-serving data from analytics tools
