About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap execution for solutions supporting Clio’s expansion into the French market
- Own Clio’s product portfolio and customer experience in France end to end, from first touch through onboarding, daily practice management, billing, and support
- Maintain a current view of product gaps, deficiencies, and committed work for France and make it legible to leadership
- Develop and evangelize a roadmap with Product Management peers
- Own roadmap feature delivery and ensure features achieve desired business outcomes
- Drive product readiness for France, including localization, multilingual support, regulatory requirements, and market-specific workflows
- Set a clear product vision for France and deliver customer-visible changes rapidly
- Validate solutions with customers and iterate based on feedback
- Track French product regulations, including Factur-X, PDP, TVA, and Conseil National des Barreaux professional rules, and translate them into buildable requirements
- Build relationships with practitioners, bar associations, and local partners
- Serve as Clio’s source of truth on the needs of the French legal profession
- Reason about system design, data models, currency, tax, payments, locale, extensibility, and migrations
- Use AI for research synthesis, competitive and regulatory analysis, requirements drafting, data querying, and prototyping
- Build lightweight AI agents, scripts, prompts, and tool chains to eliminate repetitive work
- Quantify the business case for France and secure roadmap commitments from central teams
- Manage stakeholder relationships across a matrixed organization
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Operations on the French market launch and growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in French and in English; English fluency is a requirement
- 4-5 years of experience in product management
- Working knowledge of the French legal market, including French civil law, local firm operations, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Proven track record of independently taking multiple products or features from ideation to launch in a SaaS environment
- Experience owning a product area end to end, including outcomes dependent on teams outside your own
- Demonstrated expertise in localization and multi-lingual product development
- Experience building or managing multilingual applications or internationalization projects, and expanding products to other countries and languages
- Technical fluency sufficient to reason about system design, data models, and platform tradeoffs with engineering
- Demonstrated AI-native working style, with specific examples of AI use in product practice
- Evidence of winning roadmap commitments from teams that do not report to you
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience using data to inform decisions
- Ability to operate from a customer-empathy perspective
- Experience working across time zones and cultures
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity
- At least 2 or 3 failures under your belt and learnings to bring to Clio
- Ability to work collaboratively without ego
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
