About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own core automation experiences from design through shipped code, including layout, hierarchy, and visual quality
  • Build animations and micro-interactions for scans and automated actions
  • Design how users understand, review, and control Cloaked's actions on their behalf
  • Build flows that educate users on how protection is proceeding
  • Partner with Agents & Automations engineers to turn complex system behavior into trusted interfaces
  • Implement designs in production front-end code and own the user-facing result
  • Collaborate across the stack to connect interfaces to real data and behavior
  • Maintain a high bar for aesthetic quality and detail
  • Write and refine interface copy
  • Shape reusable components and patterns for other teams
  • Design durable workflows so AI-generated code looks human-opinionated
  • Use modern AI coding tools and manage parallel agent streams and concurrent workstreams
  • Help build Cloaked's privacy and identity-protection products, including agents and automations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years building and shipping product interfaces
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of aesthetic quality, animations, micro-interactions, layout, and copy
  • Strong front-end implementation skills, such as React
  • Ability to create polished, fast, and intentional interfaces
  • Experience designing for complex or automated product behavior where clarity and user trust are critical
  • Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguity
  • Daily fluency with AI-assisted development tools
  • Personal setup for working quickly across parallel tasks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Live web apps or shipped products available to show and explain
  • Experience with AI or agentic products, privacy, identity, security, fintech, or consumer products at scale is a plus
  • Experience with Figma or other design software is a plus
  • Startup experience owning design and implementation end to end is a plus
  • In-person collaboration expected in New York City; candidates must be local to NYC or open to relocating
  • Must answer whether U.S. immigration sponsorship or renewal of U.S. employment authorization will be required
