About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide functional guidance for the internal migration of the SAP Business One environment from Microsoft SQL Server to SAP HANA
- Collaborate with Development and DevOps to develop best practices
- Document experiences, challenges, and proven approaches
- Support partners and end customers in migrating existing on-premises Business One systems to the Cloudiax Cloud
- Analyze customizations, custom developments, add-ons, and processes
- Develop clear, practical, and traceable migration roadmaps
- Provide technical and process support to partners and customers throughout the migration
- Work with Partner Management and Development to identify and support migration projects
- Help shape the target architecture for Business One Version 11 with Linux, Kubernetes, and Web Client
- Identify processes and pain points suitable for extensions or AXeLANT, the AI automation platform
- Collaborate with the Innovation and Product teams on the continued development of AXeLANT
- Assess the Service Layer as the API foundation for extensions and integrations
- Build internal knowledge of common B1 add-ons and assess their replacement in the new architecture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience as an SAP Business One Consultant, ideally gained through migration, rollout, or system replacement projects
- Excellent process knowledge of SAP Business One
- Experience with the Service Layer and external add-ons
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Business One ecosystem
- Interest in Web Client, cloud technologies, Linux/Kubernetes, and AI
- Ability to challenge existing processes and implement modern solutions and AXeLANT automation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- A conceptual and strategic approach, connecting current requirements with the future target architecture
- Native-level German
- Fluent, business-level English for collaboration with international partners and customers
- Willingness to travel occasionally
