About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively collect and prioritise requirements from diverse sources within the organisation
- Craft well-defined user stories and collaborate with Product Managers and Agile development teams to translate requirements into actionable product features
- Manage and align stakeholder expectations and communicate concepts to internal and external parties
- Support the development and communication of a clear product vision aligned with company objectives and customer needs
- Create and prioritise user stories within the team backlog
- Lead and actively engage in all agile ceremonies
- Identify project risks and devise mitigation strategies
- Serve as the main point of contact for the product
- Advocate for and contribute to process improvements
- Promote personal and team growth through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years as a Product Owner, ideally within a FinTech or the financial services sector
- Proven experience in steering product strategies from ideation to launch
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a commitment to best practices
- Experience in driving product strategies from inception to completion
- Capital Markets experience is a significant advantage
- Leadership: Capable of guiding and inspiring team members towards a shared goal
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Problem Solving: A logical and systematic approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Resilience: Can handle pressure and setbacks, always focusing on solutions
- Teamwork Ethos: Puts the team above the individual, fostering collaboration and mutual respect within the team
- Relevant Product Owner qualification is strongly desirable such as Certified Scrum Product Owner
