About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver complex features across teams
- Contribute to key architecture and design decisions
- Design for performance, scalability, security and testability

Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years (or equivalent) of software development experience
- 2+ years with React or a similar frontend framework
- 2+ years with NodeJS
- Deep, practical knowledge of TypeScript
- Knowledge of microservice architecture
- Knowledge of AWS, including Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway and SQS
- Track record of mentoring, raising engineering standards and pragmatic technical decision-making
- Hands-on fluency with AI-assisted development tools
- Judgement about the strengths and limits of AI-assisted development tools
- Experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, React, AWS microservices, TDD and full CI/CD
- Ability to work in self-organised Scrum teams
