About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, train, and fine-tune models and pipelines for STT, NLU, and TTS use cases
  • Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and retraining
  • Develop APIs and services exposing AI capabilities to backend, frontend, and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize inference performance and end-to-end latency
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Android and iOS applications, including AI/ML and Voice Agent integration
  • Integrate APIs, speech processing, real-time communication, and AI-powered functionality into mobile applications
  • Create frontend prototypes, dashboards, and demonstrations using a modern frontend framework
  • Conduct research and controlled experiments to improve model accuracy, quality, and performance
  • Evaluate external models and providers against product requirements and measurable benchmarks
  • Document model architectures, experiments, evaluation results, mobile integrations, and deployment processes
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high engineering and reproducibility standards
  • Collaborate across backend, frontend, mobile, and infrastructure teams
  • Build prototypes, dashboards, internal demos, and production-ready mobile experiences for the Voice Agent platform

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7–9 years of relevant software engineering and AI/ML development experience
  • Strong Python expertise with experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or equivalent frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with speech/audio processing and natural language processing techniques
  • Hands-on deployment experience using ONNX, TensorRT, Triton, or equivalent tooling
  • Hands-on experience developing Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java
  • Hands-on experience developing iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, SDKs, authentication, real-time communication, and AI-powered services into mobile applications
  • Experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular; frontend experience is mandatory
  • Experience with AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML, or an equivalent cloud AI platform
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Git and continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with real-time streaming using WebSocket or WebRTC
  • Experience building voice-enabled or AI-powered Android/iOS applications
  • Experience with mobile audio capture, playback, streaming, and speech processing
  • Knowledge of model quantization, pruning, and inference optimization
  • Familiarity with SIP, WebRTC, or PSTN integration
  • Experience deploying or optimizing AI models for mobile or edge devices
  • Experience with mobile application deployment through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
  • Open-source contributions or research publications in AI, speech, voice, or mobile technology
