About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform post-production work for international fashion e-commerce product imagery
Own post-production for ghost mannequin imagery, including front, back, closure and detail shots
Retouch flat/laydown shots from Index capture stations
Preserve natural garment shape, silhouette, proportions, construction and drape
Use Photoshop for masking, liquify, clean-up, colour correction and garment reconstruction
Maintain visual consistency across product sets, seasons and images
Run first-pass automated retouching at daily production volume
Manually review, correct and finish every AI-retouched output
Identify recurring AI retouching failure patterns and provide feedback to improve settings and workflow
Perform human quality checks on every image before release
Apply brand-specific retouching guidelines and taxon requirements across brands and categories
Meet daily and weekly delivery volumes while maintaining quality
Flag capacity risks early
Handle files according to naming, versioning, colour profile and output specifications
Collaborate with the photography team at Index capture stations to resolve source issues
Engage with brand and e-commerce stakeholders regarding feedback, corrections and evolving image standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of hands-on experience retouching fashion product imagery, with demonstrable ghost mannequin and flat lay work
Advanced command of Photoshop, including masking, liquify, clean-up, colour correction and batch consistency
Ability to rebuild a garment so it reads as naturally worn
Practical experience with AI-assisted retouching in a production workflow
Understanding of where AI retouching tools fail and what still needs human intervention
Trained eye for unnatural garment appearance, including shoulder collapse, incorrect sleeve fall, inflated silhouettes and distorted proportions
Judgement to determine when an image is not yet right
Discipline in following brand-specific guidelines and taxon requirements consistently at volume
Sound file handling, including colour management, output specifications, naming and version control
Good English, spoken and written
Comfortable working in a remote/hybrid setup with structured review cycles and international collaboration
Portfolio with ghost mannequin and flat lay examples, especially before/after pairs where available
Experience retouching for luxury or designer brands (nice to have)
Quality control experience on large image batches (nice to have)
Familiarity with DAM or PIM systems and e-commerce asset pipelines (nice to have)
Experience with Capture One or tethered studio capture workflows (nice to have)
