About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Moderate Clue Community, an anonymous in-app peer-support space
  • Review flagged posts and comments and act according to community guidelines
  • Decide whether to comment, move posts, remove content, ban members or leave content untouched, providing clear reasons
  • Protect member anonymity and escalate possible GDPR issues
  • Remove clinical advice and unverified health claims
  • Follow the crisis protocol when a member may be at risk
  • Escalate unclear cases, appeals and threats
  • Log removals, bans and monitoring decisions in the shared moderation sheet
  • Write moderator replies in Clue's voice
  • Direct questions to Customer Support or other teams

  • Share learnings and observations for further feature development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Some experience moderating or supporting an online community, forum or social channel; volunteer experience counts
  • Excellent written English
  • Additional languages are a plus, especially Spanish and/or Portuguese
  • Calm, steady judgement on sensitive topics
  • Discretion and a strong sense of privacy
  • Comfort following a guide closely and confidence to flag cases that do not fit it
  • Curiosity about AI tools and how they can support careful, human work
  • Organised and reliable; able to log decisions, keep to a daily rhythm and follow through
  • Interest in reproductive health or women's health is nice to have
  • Basic knowledge of GDPR or the EU Digital Services Act is nice to have
  • Mental health first aid or crisis-awareness training is nice to have; support will be provided to obtain it
  • Experience with Slack, Google Sheets or community platforms is nice to have
