About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review current testing practices and design and build the Playwright automation framework
- Automate repetitive manual regression scenarios and run them reliably in the pipeline
- Build internal test tooling, including test data seeding, to accelerate testing across the business
- Make the framework easy for the QA team to extend
- Coach the QA team on automation practices
- Propose improvements and recommend future automation initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- A background where test automation has been your main focus
- Experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch, ideally for SaaS or web apps
- Strong hands-on Playwright experience
- A developer’s mindset and comfort working in .NET
- The ability to explain technical decisions clearly to developers and testers alike
- Smart, practical use of AI tools in your day-to-day engineering
- Mobile app automation experience is a bonus
