About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Automate build, test and deployment processes.
- Integrate code quality and security tooling including SonarCloud, Snyk and WhiteSource.
- Manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
- Keep development, test and production environments consistent and well-provisioned.
- Build observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics.
- Set up alerting and own clear runbooks and escalation processes.
- Join the on-call rota to deliver a strong customer experience.
- Shape infrastructure and DevOps practices from the ground up.
- Collaborate with the engineering team, reporting to the IT & Infrastructure Director.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in a DevOps or platform engineering role.
- Solid Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.
- AWS background is also considered.
- Scripting in PowerShell, Bash and/or Python.
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, Bicep or ARM.
- Docker containerisation experience.
- Git / Azure DevOps version control.
- Ability to work on an on-call rota.
