About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Represent Tensar Engineered Solutions on assigned jobsites during installation and ensure installation is being performed as designed
- Attend pre-construction and progress meetings with all project stakeholders
- Conduct post-construction interviews with key stakeholders to ensure original design objectives are met and performing as expected
- Document progress, submit daily progress reports, collect and submit feedback to Area Engineer and Regional Sales Manager
- Provide project site assessment using dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP) and/or other methods to provide data for Tensar solutions
- Assist Area Engineer with technical support for the sales team including using design software, writing reports and submittals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Project Engineer, or Field Technician experience preferred
- Strong communication and technical presentation skills
- Must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the business and work with all levels in the organization
- Must have a strong leadership ability to focus, prioritize, and match skills to tasks
- Ability to travel regionally between 25% - 50% of the time
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations
- BS in Civil Engineering preferred
- BS or AD in Construction Management considered
- Certificate of Engineering in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) Preferred
