About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop cost effective geotechnical solutions using proprietary technologies including Rammed Aggregate Pier systems for project teams
- Coordinate interaction between GFC Design Center, Licensed Installer and Client to maximize the efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of GFC services and systems
- Generate sales leads, manage and track key projects, and communicate project status via monthly reports
- Implement engineering/bid strategies to close business and achieve proposals and solutions to meet regional revenue goals
- Review project geotechnical and structural information and perform project evaluations to examine technical and commercial feasibility
- Prepare proposals and work with estimators to provide project bids for RAP opportunities
- Review, sign, and seal project design submittals and field reports and prepare project close-out submittals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years' experience in a geotechnical/structural engineering field
- Minimum 2 years sales experience preferred
- Registered professional engineer with active license, in good standing
- Ability to quickly evaluate both technical and commercial viability of opportunities
- Demonstrate ability to create and manage business opportunities resulting in successful engineering and sales strategies
- BS in Civil Engineering required
- MS in geotechnical engineering preferred
