About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide critical support for the Information Security team’s operational, compliance, and audit functions
  • Support large Information Security projects
  • Develop cybersecurity security-awareness and phishing-training materials
  • Support employees with spam and phishing email issues
  • Assist with setup, monitoring, and maintenance of internal security platforms
  • Support system and application security company-wide against current and emerging threat actors and threat vectors
  • Monitor device, application, and employee adherence to policies and procedures
  • Update and maintain the Bank’s disaster recovery plans
  • Plan, conduct, and document disaster recovery tests
  • Support and monitor email spam and phishing management tools
  • Support incident response management tools
  • Support internal and external information security and information technology audits and examinations
  • Perform second-line review of required reporting
  • Assist with responses to audit documentation requests
  • Travel occasionally to market areas and attend offsite seminars or training sessions
  • Pursue ongoing information security certifications, conferences, and training to enhance the Bank’s security posture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Information Security, Risk, Digital Forensics, Computer Science, or related Information Technology Specialization; Technology Certifications or equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills, including writing and speaking effectively one-on-one and before groups
  • Ability to communicate directly and effectively with clients
  • Ability to utilize telephone systems and good digital literacy, including email, internet, and intranet use
  • Prior experience or ability to learn diverse operating systems, network management systems, and cybersecurity management and monitoring tools and applications
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammed instructions
  • Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation
  • Ability to work in a professional office environment or appropriate home work environment
  • Ability to travel occasionally to all market areas and attend offsite seminars or training sessions
  • Ability to perform essential position requirements satisfactorily
  • Successful completion of background screening
