About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support execution of alumni experience initiatives in partnership with the supervisor
- Implement audience-segmented alumni projects, including events, communications, and engagement touchpoints
- Help ensure alumni-facing communications and experiences reflect organizational excellence, warmth, and clarity
- Support event timelines, vendor coordination, and cross-team communication
- Maintain project plans, dashboards, databases, and records
- Serve at on-site events as needed
- Partner with the supervisor to develop and execute alumni strategies and initiatives
- Collaborate with InterVarsity teams on an integrated alumni engagement strategy
- Participate in Alumni Relations special projects or groups
- Maintain accurate records and list management using platforms such as Salesforce and RegFox
- Prepare briefing materials, reports, and internal summaries
- Prepare, collect, distribute, and organize alumni experience evaluation data
- Gather and implement feedback
- Identify workflow improvements
- Support timely project execution while upholding standards of excellence
- Adhere to InterVarsity’s program operating systems, policies, and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in Development, Communications, Project Management, Donor Relations, or relevant experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a diverse team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience of current Microsoft software applications
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
- High relational intelligence and discretion
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to develop a ministry support team who will pray, support, and give financially
- Must agree with InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement: Purpose and Doctrinal Basis
