About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide efficient project management and development of assigned projects/programs
  • Develop and oversee projects, coordinating project work with intradepartmental colleagues and, as necessary, external colleagues
  • Work closely with the PMO to provide excellent project delivery
  • Deliver projects on time, on scope, and on budget
  • Prepare documents and manage content
  • Participate in creating and maintaining project management resources
  • Report metrics and project tracking data to the PMO on an ongoing basis
  • Participate in functional-department and interdepartmental meetings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and leaders
  • Assist with adherence to national policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
  • Promote project management best practices across the organization
  • Report to the Program Management Office through a matrix or direct reporting structure, depending on functional assignment
  • Develop and maintain a personal funding base
  • Build ministry partner relationships through visits, phone calls, prayer, and thank-you letters
  • Raise the agreed-upon annual budget

  • Stay current on issues of project management, process improvement, and business practices within ministry
  • High level of collaboration with cross-functional team members or leaders
  • Adherence to national policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
  • Involvement in project management co-cohort is required for most positions
  • Develop and maintain a personal funding base
  • Establish and nurture ministry partner relationships through visits, phone calls, regular prayer, and thank you letters
  • Annually raise the agreed-upon budget
