About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the execution of audit engagements included in the Annual Audit Plan, ensuring compliance with the defined scope, timeline, and quality standards
  • Identify, assess, and document financial, operational, compliance, fraud, reputational, and other risks
  • Plan the engagement scope and develop audit programs and tests appropriate for evaluating and covering the identified risks
  • Conduct audits of regulatory, accounting, tax, financial, technology, and operational processes in the insurance, capitalization, and dental plan businesses
  • Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls
  • Prepare audit reports containing conclusions, findings, and improvement recommendations
  • Facilitate discussions with the responsible business areas and support the development of action plans
  • Conduct assessments, analyses, and management reports to support management and executive reporting
  • Follow up on audit findings and monitor the progress of action plans
  • Serve as a technical reference for the team by sharing knowledge, methodologies, and best practices
  • Support the technical development of professionals at different seniority levels by providing guidance and supervising activities
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal control mechanisms and the risk and control culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and internal controls, including analysis of control design and effectiveness
  • Demonstrated experience with audit projects involving insurance, capitalization, and/or dental plan operations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to align multidisciplinary groups on audit topics
  • Knowledge and practical application of data analysis tools (ACL, Excel, Power BI, and others)
  • Intermediate to advanced English (interactions with headquarters)
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model (two days in the office) at the Alphaville/Barueri office
  • Knowledge of audits of insurance operations processes
  • Big Four experience
  • Experience with data-related activities (SAP extraction, ACL, data analytics, data governance, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of applicable regulations (SUSEP and ANS)
  • Knowledge of SQL or similar technologies
