About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer servers and data networks in a Data Center environment
  • Maintain firewalls, switches, virtualized environments, Wi-Fi, antivirus, backup systems, servers, storage, and Windows and Linux systems in a secure and sustainable operating condition
  • Administer and monitor network systems and assets using dashboards and alarm systems
  • Perform basic configurations on new or relocated equipment and/or systems
  • Apply existing documentation and manufacturers’ best practices
  • Execute medium-complexity network and physical, logical, and virtual IT infrastructure projects
  • Participate in meetings, plan and execute projects, integrate different technologies, and conduct testing
  • Ensure project execution and completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of Cisco technologies
  • Knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and VPNs
  • Knowledge of Aruba Wi-Fi
  • Knowledge of SAN and iSCSI
  • Knowledge of Linux servers
  • Knowledge of Windows servers (DHCP, IIS, DNS, and AD)
  • Knowledge of monitoring with Zabbix and Grafana
  • Knowledge of backup systems
  • Basic English proficiency for technical reading
  • Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4, and Linux certifications are a plus
