About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own Coalition's scanning and risk-data product strategy
Define how the company discovers and understands digital assets, technologies, vulnerabilities, and security posture
Own the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and usability of scanning-system data
Develop experiences, APIs, and data products for underwriters, security teams, analysts, and customers
Balance coverage, precision, speed, reliability, and cost as the platform scales
Develop product vision for collecting, interpreting, and delivering cyber-risk intelligence
Partner with Engineering and Data to improve scanning coverage, accuracy, performance, and reliability
Partner with Underwriting, Actuarial, Security, and customer-facing teams to translate needs into products
Prioritize problems and make trade-offs between new functionality and quality, scale, and reliability improvements
Define success metrics and use quantitative and qualitative feedback to guide decisions
Lead product discovery, write requirements, shape solutions with design and engineering, and guide initiatives from concept through launch
Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
Help the team apply AI and automation thoughtfully

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of product management experience, including work on technical, data-intensive, platform, infrastructure, security, or developer-facing products
Experience building products serving multiple users or teams with different needs and priorities
Track record of partnering with Engineering, Data, Design, and business stakeholders
Strong product judgment and ability to turn complex technical problems into clear strategies and practical roadmaps
Comfort working with data quality, reliability, APIs, analytics, and systems producing probabilistic or imperfect information
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical mindset and willingness to engage deeply with customer problems and technical details
Bias toward action, continuous learning, and measurable outcomes
Bonus: experience with cybersecurity, attack-surface management, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or security operations
Bonus: familiarity with large-scale data collection, distributed systems, data platforms, or developer tools
Bonus: daily fluency with AI tools and a point of view on AI's impact on product development and security outcomes
