About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative and transactional support to attorneys handling commercial real estate matters
- Assist with purchase and sale transactions, commercial leasing, financing, acquisitions, dispositions, and closings
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents, agreements, correspondence, and closing materials
- Coordinate transaction timelines, signatures, closing documents, and outstanding items
- Assist with title, survey, due diligence, and other real estate documentation
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical transaction files
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, meetings, and client communications
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, opposing counsel, and other transaction parties
- Assist attorneys with closing preparation and post-closing documentation
- Provide additional administrative and legal support as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Commercial real estate legal experience is required
- Previous experience supporting attorneys within a law firm or similar legal environment
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and closing processes
- Familiarity with purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, title and survey materials, and closing documentation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple transactions, deadlines, and competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document-management systems
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential client matters
