About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Help scale the organization and its capabilities through Education industry expertise
  • Partner with GTM and Delivery to drive growth strategies around key accounts
  • Drive cross-functional growth strategies and influence new logos and existing clients
  • Represent Coastal at key industry events and identify new growth opportunities
  • Act as the Voice of the Education Industry to prospects, clients, and partners
  • Support scoping and estimating of programs and projects
  • Lead Advisory/True North engagements
  • Guide C-suite university leaders through change management from siloed legacy systems to Education Cloud
  • Co-sell, grow, and manage strategic prospects
  • Develop competitive analyses to elevate Coastal’s brand
  • Educate and enable sales, pre-sales, and customer success teams on sub-verticals and influence Coastal’s point of view
  • Partner cross-functionally on content for events, marketing materials, and partnered GTM activities
  • Support market-ready solution direction and growth strategy execution
  • Partner with Salesforce RVPs and AEs on new opportunities and projects
  • Develop GTM plays around Grant-making and Program Management to help NGOs prove ROI to donors
  • Build, manage, and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Provide leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and resources to associates
  • Create estimates aligned with customer requirements, expectations, and deliverables
  • Coach, mentor, and grow Market team members
  • Travel 25–50% within AMER with occasional international trips

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of consulting experience in delivery leadership relative to iterative software development, ideally Salesforce, within the Education Industry
  • 5+ years of Sales experience
  • Proven Portfolio Growth
  • Deep industry expertise with a point of view of sub-verticals
  • Commitment to building long-term relationships with customers and winning business through trusted relationships
  • Consultative mindset and dedication to learning in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of and relationships within the Salesforce portfolio, including Mulesoft, Tableau, Slack, and other newly acquired solutions
  • Excellent communication and ability to understand business requirements and think on their feet
  • Consistent record of building and running robust teams
  • Self-starter able to multitask in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment
  • Strong customer orientation and results-driven leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data for value-based discussions
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
  • Experience leading digital transformation and large-scale change management efforts
  • Strong understanding of AI
  • Ability to engage and motivate teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
