About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work within the DTC or DBS Engineering teams during the industrial placement
- Collaborate with experts in Digital Signal Processing, RF Engineering, High Speed Digital Hardware development, and embedded and PC-based software development
- Spend time embedded within various functional teams supporting successful delivery of DTC products to customers
- Contribute to the design and release of DTC products by the end of the placement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Motivated, enthusiastic and capable undergraduate
- Strong problem solving skills
- Adaptability
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have at least 2 A levels at grade B or above in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics related subjects
- On track for a predicted 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Software, Physics or a related discipline to Engineering
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
- Keen interest in one or more of: Embedded Software Development; PC Application Software Development; Digital Signal Processing; Communications Algorithm development and Simulation; RF Engineering and RF Hardware Development; Baseband Hardware Development; Test System Development and ATE Systems
