About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the full sales cycle from first conversation through signature, proof of value, paid integration, and production
  • Drive new business, revenue, and account expansion
  • Navigate business lines, divisions, budgets, priorities, and initiatives within major financial-institution accounts
  • Build relationships that expand initial engagements into lasting account presence
  • Sell to customer outcomes including speed to market, cost, performance, and risk
  • Align engineers, business leadership, risk, security, compliance gatekeepers, and budget owners
  • Structure funding paths from innovation-lab or digital-transformation proofs of value to production contracts
  • Partner with Solutions, Product, Engineering, solutions engineering, delivery, and capture teams
  • Maintain a disciplined, accurate long-lead pipeline forecast against goals
  • Work with the Engagement Manager, Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Technical Program Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years selling into, or capturing business within, major U.S. banks or financial institutions
  • Trusted, enduring relationships within major U.S. banks or financial institutions
  • Fluency in complex organizational dynamics and structures
  • Ability to clear standard financial-services background and regulatory screening
  • Ability to work on site when a deal requires it
  • Active relationships inside one or more major U.S. banks or financial institutions (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with core banking systems, risk and compliance platforms, legacy system modernization, or developer tooling (nice to have)
  • CRM discipline and experience using tools for conducting market and account research (nice to have)
  • U.S. citizenship may be required for certain project assignments involving security clearance
  • U.S. work authorization and security-clearance eligibility may be required for certain assignments
