About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop and enhance enterprise solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and the Power Platform
Deliver new application capabilities, workflow automation and business process improvements aligned to customer requirements
Develop and maintain custom plugins, integrations, workflows and Power Platform components
Contribute to solution architecture discussions and technical design decisions
Improve performance, scalability, maintainability and supportability across the application estate
Participate in technical design workshops and collaborate with functional consultants, architects and customer stakeholders
Lead the technical implementation of approved change requests and enhancements
Refactor and optimise existing solution components to reduce technical debt and improve long-term maintainability
Support the introduction of new Microsoft capabilities and platform features
Contribute to the ongoing evolution and modernisation of the solution architecture
Investigate and resolve complex application and integration issues
Act as a senior escalation point requiring deep product knowledge

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on experience designing, developing and delivering Microsoft Business Applications solutions
Expertise across Dynamics 365 CE, the Power Platform, Azure Function apps and integrations
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Microsoft Dataverse and Microsoft Power Platform
Experience with Model-Driven Application Development, Power Automate, business process automation, Dynamics 365 Security Model, solution design and customisation
C# plugin development experience
Experience with custom workflow activities, JavaScript and client-side customisation, custom API development, Dataverse development, integration design and development
Experience with solution layering, environment strategy, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD concepts, solution deployment and release management, environment management and DevOps best practices
Requirements analysis, technical design documentation, solution architecture principles, performance optimisation, secure application design and scalable enterprise solution development
Valid PL-400 qualification
Proven experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions
Strong hands-on experience with Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps and Power Automate
Experience developing custom plugins and integrations using C# and Microsoft best practices
Experience delivering enhancements and new functionality within enterprise application environments
Experience working with Azure DevOps and modern ALM practices
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Exposure to Microsoft Azure integration technologies (highly desirable)
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps or Azure SQL (highly desirable)
Experience working within complex, integrated Microsoft application estates (highly desirable)
Experience in Managed Services or regulated environments (highly desirable)
