About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end and functional verification of critical operational workflows across merged application ecosystems and third-party endpoints
Investigate, reproduce, and root-cause system errors, edge cases, and field-reported issues from logistics and operations hub teams
Perform exploratory and functional QA audits across the platform
Map functional deficiencies and draft test plans and technical documentation
Design, build, and maintain API and backend test automation suites for REST/gRPC microservices
Maintain a 50% automation to 50% functional/exploratory testing split
Write and execute advanced SQL scripts across multi-service databases
Validate routing state changes, message integrity, and data synchronization workflows
Integrate test pipelines into GitHub Actions and GitLab CI
Collaborate with developers to optimize flows and identify automation opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of dedicated QA experience
Proven software quality engineering experience across functional system analysis, API/backend validation, and automated framework design
Hands-on expertise with PyTest, REST Assured, Playwright, Karate, or Postman
Proficiency in at least one modern language: Python, TypeScript, Java, or C#
Solid proficiency in SQL, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL
Ability to dissect complex distributed systems
Ability to translate operational support issues into reproducible test artifacts
Ability to communicate platform gaps clearly
Advanced verbal and written English proficiency (C1 minimum)
Ability to collaborate with U.S. engineering stakeholders, cross-functional delivery PODs, and distributed operations teams
