About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take responsibility for complex software and development projects, ensuring objectives, quality, timelines, budget, and risks are managed effectively
  • Create transparency around requirements, scope, priorities, dependencies, and pending decisions
  • Ensure reliable project governance and execution
  • Act as the central point of contact for customers, development teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate collaboration across all project phases
  • Coordinate multiple projects in parallel while balancing resources, priorities, and customer requirements
  • Identify risks, conflicting objectives, and required changes at an early stage
  • Make well-founded decisions and initiate appropriate implementation measures
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Be responsible for project controlling and forecasts
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methods

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience independently managing software or technical development projects in a customer-facing environment
  • Technical background in software development, electrical engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline
  • In-depth understanding of technical interrelationships
  • Experience managing multiple projects and diverse stakeholders simultaneously
  • High degree of ownership and the ability to make well-founded decisions, even in challenging situations
  • Clear and reliable communication with customers, development teams, and management
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Experience with Scrum, agile, or hybrid project management approaches is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Jira, Polarion, Targetprocess, or comparable tools is an advantage
  • Technical background in software development, embedded systems, or industrial automation is an advantage
  • Experience in regulated environments or with IEC 62443, industrial cybersecurity, GMP/GAMP, or industrial communication protocols is an advantage
