About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and debug Board Support Package (BSP) and low-level software for high-performance networking devices
Research and define the best implementation of client requirements and ideas
Engage directly with client architects and end-users through design calls and syncs
Gather requirements, clarify edge cases, and shape the future of the testing tool
Use modern AI coding tools (LLMs, Copilot, Codex, etc.) as the primary workflow to generate, refactor, and expand test scripts
Build, test, and maintain a Python testing tool across diverse router platforms
Work with client-supplied hardware and tools
Collaborate with the client-managed project team and CodiLime manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong proficiency in C and Linux system/kernel programming, plus Python scripting skills
Hands-on experience with agentic AI
Experience with general hardware integration and bring-up
Experience with networking hardware in at least one area, such as: high-speed transceivers, network interfaces, and related industry standards
Experience integrating and configuring ASICs, NPUs, or specialized switching silicon using vendor SDKs
Background in register-level programming and communication protocols such as I2C, PCIe, SPI, and MDIO
Familiarity with network encryption protocols at the hardware/datapath level would be a plus
Availability for early evening meetings may be required due to the US-based client
