About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end delivery of customer implementations, from scoping to rollout and handover
- Act as the main point of contact for client stakeholders, including senior management
- Participate in technical and architectural discussions and shape project roadmaps
- Manage project financials and profitability for time-and-materials and fixed-price engagements
- Grow engagements through upsell, cross-sell and presales support
- Cultivate strong team dynamics and foster a positive workplace culture
- Lead people and manage the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and development meetings
- Visit clients on-site a few times a year in Europe and the US
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years as an Engineering Manager, Technical Delivery Manager or in a similar role
- Proven experience delivering implementation or integration projects at client sites
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills, including handling escalations and negotiating scope
- Experience managing budgets and margins and growing client accounts
- Experience leading teams of 10+ engineers on complex technical projects
- Hands-on engineering background in Software, Network, DevOps or Infrastructure
- Solid knowledge of at least two of networking, network automation, cybersecurity, Data Center infrastructure, Public Cloud, and CI/CD
- English at C1 level or higher
- Flexibility to work across EMEA and US time zones
- Experience in Professional Services or at a specialized technology vendor preferred
- Presales experience preferred
- PMI, PRINCE2 or SAFe certification preferred
