About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Re-architect parts of a legacy system onto modern, cloud-native foundations
  • Build and evolve services on Kubernetes across AWS and Azure
  • Work in a regulated financial services environment with compliance, data integrity, quality, testing, and traceability requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong commercial experience with .NET / C# in a production environment
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerised/Kubernetes environments
  • Comfortable working in a regulated or compliance-heavy environment
  • Experience modernising or re-platforming legacy systems
  • Genuine interest in testing, clean code, and good engineering habits
  • Able to work in Manchester 1–2 days a week
