About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enhance the feature set of the existing OpenShift platform across multiple environments
- Serve as the OpenShift subject-matter expert
- Install, maintain, and operationalize OpenShift Operators
- Assist with DevSecOps automation
- Support development teams with containerization, infrastructure, and deployments
- Support a mission-critical large-scale system serving the Federal Government in the healthcare domain
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must have lived in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or EAD)
- Position does not offer sponsorship
- Public Trust Clearance or ability to obtain
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of direct experience with RedHat OpenShift containerization platform
- 5+ years of experience with AWS
- Proven experience with scripting: bash, PowerShell, Python, and Java
- Experience with DevSecOps practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Experience with observability tools
- Understanding of event platforms such as Kafka
- Experience in federal government programs or regulated environments preferred
- CMS experience preferred
- Relevant AWS or OpenShift certifications are a plus
